PURCHASING A HIGHBORN PUP

Highborn Puppies are $3,000. Nicely marked clear Reds or Chocolates can be anywhere from $3,000 to $4,000 for limited registration (Mandatory Spay/Neuter by 6 months of age). We no longer sell pups with Full Registration. Our spay/neuter contract is strict and we do follow up and check with your vet. We do vet our potential puppy owners, once screened, you may reserve one of our puppies by placing a nonrefundable deposit of $500 by personal check or bank check made payable to me or to Highborn Havanese. You may also make a payment through Zelle. The remaining balance must be paid either in cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order.at time of pick up. You may also pay your final payment through Zelle, however, final payment in this case would need to be made 5 days in advance.

Visit Us At Home!!
1) You may come to our home. Many breeders won't allow you to visit the home. This should be a big red flag. You may come to our home and meet our other Havanese dogs. You may meet Andy as well as all of our females. The only time we don't allow visitation is if the pups are too young. Parvo is a real threat to young puppies and we therefore will insist that you don't visit any other breeders or pet stores before coming to our home.

2) If you live too far from us to pick up your pup, we will be happy to meet you a portion of the way. We have driven several hours to place our pups in the arms of their forever owners. If the distance is extremely far for you & IF our schedule allows we will be happy to transport a portion of the way. We do charge a transport fee. 1 to 2 hours (one way) is $250. 3 to 4 hours is $400. Over 5 hours one way is $500. We bring in our pup-sitter when we transport pups & there is a charge for our several dogs. In any case it is worth the effort. We will go to extreme lengths to get our puppies into a wonderful home. Don't assume you live too far. Please call and talk with us first. We have driven upwards of 6 hours to place our puppies and if we know it's a great fit for our pup, we will work out a compromise and make the trip!!

3) Presently, my husband flies with any pup needing to reach their forever destination. We no longer use a Flight Nanny due to the restrictions and issues following the pandemic. Dave has flown 100% of the pups needing air transport in 2023 and we have found that the pups are less stressed than flying with a stranger. We will continue this practice moving forward. Dave is happy to fly with your pup to the nearest airport of your choice given the proper notice. He will check flights & prices and give you a quote. For further information feel free to call me.
